WRITE IN KANNADA SIR JI 🤔😀

Reality and in lighter vein

I was new to writing in Kannada through a transliteral keyboard on my laptop and while doing so I found, it is very easy and smooth  flowing.  I was just trying to type in Kannada some English sentences and it was a wonderful but I had a very bad experience.

(in English - Sirji, everything is possible, but my little knowledgeable English spelling is sure to get spoiled).  Honestly, my limited English spelling memory is sure to get corrupted when I type English words in Kannada on my laptop using a transliteral keyboard. To write "knowledgeable" in Kannada, I have to type "noledjabal". Similarly, to write "Good" in "Good Morning", I have to type "gud".

Of course, one can argue that Kannada words are distinct and have no connection to English spellings. However, in reality, we often use many English words while speaking Kannada, and using those English words helps convey our message correctly to the other person. This is because, when we're in a hurry to send messages, we often can't think of the right Kannada word. For instance, finding substitutes for phrases like "Good Morning" or "Hello"  "respect" can be challenging. We might need to consult a dictionary, which takes time. Moreover, it's tough until we practice regularly.

Anyway, while using the transliteral keyboard, there is an option to use English words as well. That is, for every word, the last option shows the word in English. This solves the problem to a great extent.

Anyways, this write-up is in lighter vein.  And recently 'kannada voice to text' application is making news.
