Robotics is a highly regarded field that helps students develop valuable skills, and it's widely encouraged in schools across the USA. As a popular extracurricular activity, robotics programs provide students with hands-on experience in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), fostering innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), is a robotics competition for students in grades 7–12 to compete head to head, by designing, building, and programming a robot to compete in an alliance format against other teams.
Teams can consist of students from schools, community organizations, or homeschooling groups, providing a unique opportunity for students to collaborate, innovate, and develop valuable STEM skills.
