Don't worry ಮಾಡ್ಕೋಬೇಡಿ... Ha Ha Ha!
I've used this phrase for the first time during the 1990s with my close friends. The unusual phrase reminded me of another interesting expression, "I don't know nothing."
The phrase "I don't know nothing" initially struck me as unusual, given my background in British English. However, this phrase is a quintessential example of "multiple negation," a linguistic phenomenon considered nonstandard or informal in modern English.
Historically, this phrase originated from African American Vernacular English, which has its roots in the local languages spoken by Africans in the Caribbean and the Americas. Multiple negation serves as an emphatic device, rendering "I don't know nothing" synonymous with "I don't know anything."
This linguistic construction is also prevalent in certain regional dialects of English, particularly in the Southern United States. Although "I don't know nothing" is not deemed "standard" English, it remains a widely recognised and commonly employed phrase in informal settings, especially in American English.
We might have heard this dialogue in many of the Hollywood movies too.
In formal writing and professional contexts, it is generally advisable to utilise the standard phrase "I don't know anything" to preclude potential confusion or misinterpretation.
There are many Kannada slang words that are prominently used by the youth. And the movies and FM channels play a major role in making these slang words more popular.

Another important aspect of spoken Kannada is the inclusion of many English words. Here too we see some slang words.
ಅಶಿಷ್ಟ ಕಂಗ್ಲೀಷ್ ಪದಗಳು ಕೂಡ ಬಳಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿವೆ
ಉದಾಹರಣೆ: ಡೀಲು, ಫಿನಿಶೂ, ಬ್ಲೇಡು, ಪ್ಲೀಸು, ಮೆಸೇಜು etc
I am strictly against using slang words. ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ ಇವುಗಳ ಉಪಯೋಗ ಮಾತನಾಡುವಾಗ ಅಸಹ್ಯ ತರುತ್ತವೆ.
