ARE OUR TV CHANNELS WORTH A WATCH ?

which is best channel under TV and YouTube. Answer is 👆

I never like to watch KBC or such type of episodes over Television.

But today (26 Feb 2025) I stumbled upon the latest season of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) on Sony TV and watched it out of curiosity. The selection process among the top 10 contestants was underway, and I was shocked to see the winner, Riya Chopda, complete the task in just 3.83 seconds.

Realistically, it would take a minimum 5 seconds to read all four options and at least another 5 seconds to arrange them correctly.

The second contestant took around 9.4+ seconds, which seemed more plausible.

It appears that the producers had already predetermined the winner. Interestingly, today's winner, Riya Chopda is a celebrity author with several books to her credit. Upon reviewing earlier episodes on the website, I suspect that every selection is rigged, as each chosen contestant has some unique talent or achievement.

Sadly, it seems the public is being fooled time and again. The show's authenticity is questionable, and it's disheartening to think that the outcome is predetermined.

Reality TV shows like Indian Idol or dance competitions often prioritize sensationalism over substance, padding out episodes with contrived emotional appeals that intrusively probe contestants' personal lives, frequently creating awkward and uncomfortable moments.

Moreover, the detrimental influence of TV drama serials on family dynamics is alarming. By perpetuating a culture of fear and conflict, these shows often erode the harmony and cohesion within even the most respectable households.

Even news channels have adopted a sensationalist approach, obsessively rehashing a single incident for hours on end, ultimately driving intelligent viewers to switch off their TVs in frustration.

The debate on news channels has degenerated into a verbal battleground, where uninhibited mudslinging, personal attacks, and abusive comments have become the norm.

The proliferation of vulgarity on OTT platforms has become a disturbing norm, often leading to embarrassing moments for family members watching together, as they struggle to explain or shield themselves from explicit content.

The majority of telecasted movies are marred by gratuitous violence, poorly crafted storylines, cheesy dialogue, and absurdly superhuman protagonists, rendering them virtually unwatchable.

Even informative YouTube channels like PGurus, Jaipur Dialogues, DEF Talk, and Alternate Media, etc, can be time-consuming. To optimize my time, I restrict my viewing to episodes of 10 minutes or less, provided they offer valuable insights worth my attention.

As an occasional viewer of TV, I'm spared the frustration of witnessing these trends firsthand. However, when I do tune in, I'm left wondering where our society is headed. Doesn't mindless TV consumption squander our most precious resource – time?

I make it a point to tune into DD News Channel twice daily, as I firmly believe it provides the most comprehensive and reliable coverage of national and international news, keeping me informed about current events. I don't miss any episodes of the youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/@apkaakhbar and some of the episodes of the following channels:

Also I watch a few of the important short time (less than 10 minutes) episodes of the following:
