Tonight or tomorrow, we don't wear new dress, we don't go to Temple, we don't prepare sweets or special foods, we don't meet our relatives or friends as we do on Vijayadashami or Yugadi Day.
Most importantly we never follow the gregorian calendar for any of our celebrations.
Even our financial year changed from April to March.
Seeing all these, I can definitely say that we all definitely don't celebrate tonight or tomorrow in any manner. Rather, we enjoy watching special programmes over televisions, or try for an outing, etc.
And the funny part is that
Still we send messages 'Happy New Year'
I can only say here 'Enjoy watching good programmes over TV tonight and tomorrow'.
Sorry for projecting a different view on this last day of 2024.
Good day

Bye 2024, Welcome 2025

Nyepi Day: A day of complete silence, fasting, and meditation that takes place from 6 AM until 6 AM the next day. During Nyepi, the island is completely shut down, with no work, travel, lights, or entertainment. The word Nyepi means "to keep silent" in the local language.
Remember
Ogoh-Ogoh parade: A memorable parade that takes place on the second day of the celebration.
The Balinese celebrate their traditional new year, or Saka New Year, with a variety of events, including a six-day celebration and a day of complete silence called Nyepi:
On Nyepi day , which is New Year's day in the Balinese Saka Calendar, the island of Bali turns off all lights and sounds, stops all traffic, deserts all worldly activities, and meditates, while complete silence and serenity reigns over the entire island.
A small correction or addition:
Tonight and tomorrow morning, Bali is full of activities to entertain tourists. Tourism is the main source of income for Bali's economy. Bali is the only province in Indonesia with a majority Hindu population, with approximately 88% of its residents following Hinduism. Rather, it can be considered a predominantly Hindu province. The Balinese people seem to follow a unique style of Hinduism. Rather, I can say in a nomadic way. To learn more, you can visit the 'Global Kannadiga' website. Usually, I check YouTube channels before deciding to visit any place of interest.
It is said in the above clip, the whole of Bali shall have a deserted look. I differ.
Bali's traditional new year is celebrated on Ugadi day like south indians. But the festival is celebrated by staying at home like most of our regular festivals.
